The vegetation over or near the pipeline appears dead or dying when it\u2019s normally green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Fire coming from the ground or burning above the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; A pool of liquid on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; An unusual odor or scent of petroleum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Colorful Sheens, Stains or Pools of Petroleum Appearing on Flat Surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Colorful Sheens Appearing on Water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Presence of Construction or Excavation Equipment in the Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What to do if a leak occurs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Do leave the area immediately!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; Do warn others to stay away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; From a safe place, call 911 or your local emergency response telephone number and the <strong><em>Explorer &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Pipeline 24-hour emergency number at (888) 876-0036<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;
